The first orchestral concert of the season will take place on Sunday afternoon next 3 September at 3pm in the Curtis Auditorium, CSM Union Quay.
SinfoNua, brought by the education department of the National Concert Hall, Dublin has for the past four years provided a professional orchestra experience for aspiring professionals and this year, for the first time, the orchestra will also perform in Cork.
The orchestra is conducted by David Brophy, and led by dubliner Matthew Wylie currently a CIT MA in Performance student with Greg Ellis in CSM. The orchestra members come from all over the country with CSM students featuring prominently.
