4th annual festival and national tour of the Esker Festival Orchestra

Bringing together 65 of Ireland’s best emerging professional musicians under conductor Peter Joyce (University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna).

Their 2017 programme consists of Gustav Mahler's 'Songs of a Wayfarer' with Mezzo-soprano Carolyn Holt (Royal Academy of Music), a world premiere of new work ‘Iridescence’ by young Irish composer Christopher Moriarty (Winner of the 2017 Irish Freemasons Young Musician of the Year) and Tchaikovsky's 6th Symphony 'Pathetique'.
