Kings of Pastry
The prize of “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” is considered the most prestigious award for pastry chefs. The three day competition involves the talented chefs creating complicated sugar sculptures, sumptuous chocolates and elaborate cakes. The documentary gives us a unique insight into the highs and lows of the passionate chefs who take part, focusing primarily on Chicago-based first time competitor Jacquy Pfeiffer.
