Crawford College of Art & Design graduating students are delighted to invite you to the opening of their degree exhibition, ‘Cooked'. The exhibition will open on Thursday 9th June at 6pm and will run until June 16th at CCAD, Sharman Crawford St. Cork.
‘Cooked’ is a mass collaboration between 59 artists from both Fine Art and Contemporary Applied Art.  Following the success of the third year show ‘Ascent’, in Cork Airport, 2015, we have continued to fundraise, and have been working hard in producing our final year show.
Our various backgrounds and experiences, as students of CCAD, have encouraged a coalescing of lives and mindsets, and within that context, ‘Cooked‘ was set in motion. Art is raw expression, heavily impacted by the culture in which it is created. As emerging artists, we are aware of the role our education has played. After being shaped through creativity, exploration and making, we are ready to showcase ourselves – we are ‘Cooked’.

Following the extraordinary success of previous CCAD degree shows, we have embraced the challenge of producing an exhibition that is characterised by a high standard of execution and the application of robust artistic rigour.
The development of ‘Cooked’ has been purely a student-led process and we are proud to invite the public to participate and enjoy our final year exhibition. Please join us in celebrating the relevance of the CCAD degree show within the national artistic context of Ireland.
