CIT Photographic Society Exhibition.

25 November - 5 December

CIT Photographic Society members invite you to join them at their end of semester exhibition titled ‘Monochrome’, on Tuesday the 25th of November 6p.m. in the James Barry Exhibition Centre, CIT Bishopstown Campus. The exhibition is free entry and refreshments will be served on the opening night.

The photographs will be for sale and the proceeds will go to ‘Lives in Limbo’ Direct provision project. The exhibition will include photo submissions from student members of the Photographic Society.

The title of the exhibition ‘Monochrome’ refers to the use of a single colour in a work of art. For the photographer, it requires an entirely new way of seeing. Using the camera as a tool of expression the students explored and created rich and varied interpretations of their sense of vision. The only common thread is their passion and enthusiasm for photography.

The exhibition will run daily from 26th November – 5th December in the James Barry Exhibition Centre and afterwards it will be redisplayed at Greenes Restaurant, MacCurtain Street from 7th December – 5th January.

All welcome so please come down to our opening night which promises to be a beautiful evening.
