CULTURE NIGHT 2023

What: Tentacular Thinking, a survey exhibition from the KinShip project & FLAG MAKING WORKSHOP

Where: James Barry Exhibition Centre, MTU Bishopstown Campus, Rossa Avenue, Bishopstown, Cork City.

MTU Arts Office through the Create Le Chéile Arts Fund are delighted to host KinShip / Tentacular Thinking Exhibition and a Flag making workshop on Culture Night.

Tentacular Thinking is a curated survey exhibition from the KinShip project at Tramore Valley Park, exploring the role that creative practitioners have in the ongoing conversation about climate action and showcasing the involvement of so many individuals and organisations in this ongoing public art project.

 

 

MTU Arts Office through the Create Le Chéile Arts Fund are delighted to host – Midden Chronicles – KinShip Tentacular Thinking, at the James Barry Exhibition Centre, MTU Bishopstown Campus, Cork.

A curated exhibition, including screenings, workshop, artist talks exploring the role that creative practitioners have in the ongoing conversation about climate action.

For Culture Night 2023 KinShip project will run a flag making with The Laboratory Of Land Flags by Artist Chelsea Canavan.

This workshop is for all ages and will work on designing and creating your own small flag to take home while contributing and co-creating a flag and its ritual for the Kinship Project.

Spaces limited so booking required – for 3 hour long workshops in the James Barry Exhibition Centre at 2pm, 5pm & 7pm.
