COM,MA presents the artworks of: Catarina Araújo, Deirdre Breen, Padraic Barrett, Aoife  Claffey, Seán Daly, Joe Fogarty, Inguna Mainule, Kate McElroy, and Ida Mitrani. 

The online exhibition features installation views and a video walk though experience of the artists’ work with a fictional text by author Danny Denton, and an academic response by Dr Eve Olney: COM,MA Online Exhibition

A comma is not a silence,

But a time to act and to raise our voices through our creative endeavours.

A comma is an invitation,

Space to process conventional existence,

A comma offers perspective to survey past, present and future,

It helps to distinguish reality from noise, truth from illusion.

A comma is a soft rupture...

MA in Art & Process is a 3 semester programme delivered over the calendar year from end January-December. This 2020 cohort of students were 6 weeks into the programme when Covid19 restrictions meant this studio programme went entirely online until September. These students have shown particular commitment and tenacity to complete their MA, availing of every opportunity to progress their practices and engagement with audience, embracing Culture Night in September with an impressive public exhibition mediated via their studio windows onto Grand Parade. While for many C19 stopped their world, these students completed a post graduate programme and developed the skills to mediate their work online, ready for the post C19 cultural working world.  To follow the trajectory of the exhibition, you can visit:
