ALSA Productions // Tall Tail - part of CORK MIDSUMMER 2019

Date: 14th Jun 2019 - 16th Jun 2019
Time: 4pm 14, 2pm 15 & 16 June
Venue: Stack Theatre, CIT Cork School of Music

Told through the eyes of loveable dog Here-Boy who lives on the street with his owner, Tall Tail is a heart-warming play with original live music for family audiences, dog-lovers and anyone who has ever made a friend for life. We are delighted to announce that it will premier at this year's Cork Midsummer Festival.

The production is aimed at children 7+ but all are welcome!

Taking a look at friendship and loneliness, with warmth and humour at its heart, this is an engaging piece from Cork production company ALSA Productions who are the Theatre Graduates in Residence at the CIT School of Music, in collaboration with James de Burca, Conor Clancy & Beka Ruane.

ALSA Productions have partnered with Focus Ireland on a Pay It Forward scheme to provide free performances of Tall Tail to children and families currently experiencing homelessness. Those buying tickets to the show will have the option to pay for a ticket for another child to come and see the show.

Tall Tail was developed in partnership with Graffiti Theatre Company and supported by CIT School of Music. It is made possible by funding from the Arts Council & Cork City Council Arts Office and is supported by Focus Ireland who is Ireland’s leading not for profit working to prevent people becoming, remaining or returning to homelessness.
