CIT CSM staff & students involved in the film Young Offenders

This film was written and directed by Peter Foott, who lecturer on the BA in Theatre & Drama course in CSM, and actor Hilary Rose, who also lectures in CSM.

Principal offender Chris Walley began his career in the CSM Youth Theatre and won scholarships in his grade 7 and 8 here before gaining a coveted place in RADA in London. Receiving their BAs in TDS in October, Emma Willis and Tommy Harris also feature.

The live music for the soundtrack was recorded in the CSM Studio by music technology lecturer Keith Clancy - ably assisted by BAPM student Barry O’Connell - and was brilliantly performed by string players from the Bmus and MA in performance courses.

A film set, shot and involves Cork City gaining great aclaim since its world preimer at the Galway Film Festival, this film has gone from strenght to strenght. Wowing International audiences at Fantastic Fest in Texas, and will be showing at the BFI London Film Festival, this film is a must see running in Cork Cinemas sinc mid Sept.
