Rebecca Bradley, Julie Forrester, and Sharon McCarthy – all graduates from the inaugural year of the CIT CCAD MA:Art & Process - are currently exhibiting in TACTIC Gallery, at Sample Studios, in a project titled “Sulumuc”. Developed over the past twelve months through a process of conversations, experiments, and interactions, the work on view is the result  of an attempt at collaborative making with respect for their individual practices. Opened last week by Lucy Dawe-Lane, the show continues until this Saturday 29th March only, and is open from 12-3pm daily.

This event recognises that the peripheries are dynamic. SULUMUC...things fall apart the centre cannot hold at Tactic provides the co-ordinates for a series of short acts presented by the artists. These acts represent a temporary halting in a process where the search for meaning is always negotiable. There is a willingness to allow for synchronicity, coincidence, and the potential for the unknown. Three artists present new work for …things fall apart the centre cannot hold...

Rebecca Bradley, Julie Forrester and Sharon MacCarthy came together whilst studying for an MA in Art and Process at the CIT Crawford College of Art in 2012. While diverse in their approach to materials, they have found intersections in their methodologies, preoccupations and responses.
