We believe that people involved in the area of mental well being should see this show.

The play is about two determined & defiant characters. They are both passionate about their independence. And Rock music. Oh, and by the way, they also happen to have an Intellectual Disability, OCD - Aimee Richardson Voice of Punky and member of Down Syndrome Ireland National Advisory Council

The play deals with issues of intellectual disability and mental health and OCD. The play has been strongly endorsed by people who work in this field and they have urged others to see it.  The feedback on this play has been extraordinary and promises to be a real treat.

"Fred & Alice is hilarious with mischievous characters, with charming, humorous dialogue and fantastic choreography. Fred and Alice meet in a mental health hostel, as their stories unfold we come to understand the powerful reasons that have brought them there.  As their love flourishes, so too does their need to live more independently, this play tells the story of that journey".

It is a fantastic play to be part of and we have received wonderful feedback and reviews from both the press and audiences.

“Fred and Alice have so much to teach mental health professionals about what it is to want to live your life and make your own decisions in a world that sees your ways of coping as illness. They allow us the privilege of seeing their world from their perspective” Mary Farrelly, Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing.
“Fred & Alice is a glorious take on the difficulties of mental health that will leave you happy to live in a world where such plays can be made” Theatre critic Laura O’Mahony
“Picturesque, awareness of disability and troubled backgrounds…..hilarious to look at & adorable characters!!  Overall, it’s an extraordinary show that I love!!” Aimee Richardson Voice of Punky and member of Down Syndrome Ireland National Advisory Council
