The Cork Orchestral Society and the CIT Cork School of Music present a celebration of the music of Dmitri Shostakovich.

Centred around the Carducci Quartet's return to Cork to perform all 15 string quartets, the festival will also feature the acclaimed Vanbrugh Quartet, pianist Barry Douglas, and both students and graduates of the CIT Cork School of Music.

 

 

Shostakovich Festival ticket prices:

8.00 p.m. performances on Thursday, Friday & Saturday: €20 (€15 for COS Members & €10 for COS Concessionary Members)

All the other performances except the Friday afternoon for young people: €10 (with €5 concession)

Friday afternoon's concert for young people: €5

Season ticket (11 concerts – i.e. except the Friday afternoon concert for young people): €100 (€75 for COS Members & €50 for COS Concessionary Members/Students)
