Gare St Lazare Ireland present the world premiere stage adaptation of Beckett's final novel.

How It Is: Part One runs at The Everyman from 30 Jan - 3 Feb.

 

THE PRODUCTION FEATURES many cit alumni & students - Directed by crawford College of art & Design Alumni - judy hegarty lovett, CIT CSM alumni Sadhbh Barrett Coakley as Stage Manager, and a number of current students including Shane Corcoran, Niall Holland, Clare Denmead, Amber Deasy, Pearse O'Donoghue and Millie Ahern and Beky O'Mahony.

 

HOW IT IS: PART ONE

A stage rendition of Beckett’s novel by Gare St Lazare
Gare St Lazare Ireland’s newest work How It Is receives its world premiere performance. The result of the three-year Artistic Residency here, this production has been made on and for the Everyman stage.

How It Is will be the company’s 11th Beckett prose work for the stage. Directed and co-designed by Judy Hegarty Lovett with a creative team of actor Conor Lovett, composer/sound designer Mel Mercier, actor Stephen Dillane, set and lighting designer Kris Stone.

Perhaps Beckett’s most complex and enigmatic work How It Is was Beckett’s last full-length novel.
